Edinburgh Castle
Most people will visit the stunning city of Edinburgh primarily to visit the most famous attraction which is Edinburgh Castle. Edinburgh Castle is just located about the main city and boasts wonderful views, well kept buildings and an array of history to share.
Edinburgh Castle is opening all year round except during the Christmas period. It opens from early morning at 9.30 am until 6 pm on a weekly basis and during the winter period the Castle shuts slightly early just after sunset.
Ticket prices are divided in to adult, child, and concession tickets. Sometimes deal can be found online especially fro larger groups. If larger groups are visiting it is recommended that you pre book and you will be able to get a discount.
At the castle you can either pick a guided tour or use the souvenir guides available at the ticket office to guide you around. The history of Edinburgh Castle is sensational and you will be definitely in awe at how well looked after the historic landmark is. The castle and its out buildings are in fantastic condition.
At Edinburgh Castle there is a great gift shop where you can pick up a number of souvenirs and gifts as well. If you are hungry there are two amazing cafes located in the castle grounds where you can east some fine food. Try out either of them and they are Queen Anne Café and Redcoat Café.
