Edinburgh
The city of Edinburgh in Scotland is one of the UK’s most popular hotspots for a weekend break. Edinburgh boasts an array of attractions as well as a great modern centre and plenty of cool places to shop and eat at your leisure.
Edinburgh is important for Scotland as it is the capital and this is evident with what is has to offer visitors. The most famous attraction is Edinburgh Castle but there are also some fabulous museums, churches and art galleries too.

The city of Edinburgh also has a thriving university which give the city its lease of life. There are plenty of good nightclubs, bars, pubs and restaurants too. In the city you can expect to find some traditional style pubs serving traditional ales and modern bars which cater for the younger crowds.
